I forgot

I forgot to mention that I too have a cleft. Mine is a unilateral cleft of the lip only. They "experts" say that Marias cleft may not be inherited from me, but it seems a long stretch to me. When I found out about her cleft it was the saddest day of my life. I just wished my mom were alive to encourage Katherine and Leo.
I felt somehow responsible.
I also didnt mention that Katherine married a foregin man, oh no, not that too!!!
