"NOBODY GOES TIME OUT IN PAPPOUS TRUCK, SHOP OR WHATEVER HE IS THINKING ABOUT AT THE TIME.
SEEMS TO ME THE KIDS THINK PAPPOUS IS THE PUSHOVER.
HE SITS WITH THEM IN TIME OUT WHENVER THEY HAVE TO GO.
MAKES IT PRETTY HARD ON THEIR PARENTS.
MARIA JUST JUMPS ONTO PAPPOUS. ESPECIALLY WHEN HE'S ASLEEP ON THE COUCH.
RIGHT ONTO HIS STOMACH! OUCH

Everyone needs a grandpa like Pappous. They are blessed.
pappous is a blessing! katherine's kids and my kids no longer have a grandfather on their father's side of the family so dad has to be the only grandpa (pavlos has a picture of his grandpa in his room, but he will never "know" him as he passed away a year before he was born). And i think dad is up to the challenge of being that only grandfather:)
BUT.. as the mommy, it can be a bit trying on my patience to have dad go into time out with pavlos or let pavlos do things dad would NEVER allow us to do in a million years!!!!

My dad is the same way, my husband's father; and the father of both of my nephew's fathers have passed away, so he's the only grandpa - a task he takes very seriously.
Howver, my late FIL was a grandpa like your dad - he was always allowing my kids to do all sorts of zany things.
